"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

No. I'm too exhausted to politely yell at someone for faving something I added to my scrap pile. I mean, sure, thanks. But if I wanted it to have attenion, I'D HAVE CALLED ATTENTION TO IT. Y'know with tags and a proper title, other than something to remind me of just what it is, or also a description/comment/rant about it.
Has anyone else experienced that?? Getting a scrap item faved by someone on here?? I think it's a tad pointless, really. Because if it's not a piece you're submitting to one of your galleries, whyyy does it get published to the public?? Is there a 'private' feature I do not know about??
